ACK! The basement’s done and now onto to the first floor! I’ve heard rumors of 55 rooms, and while Holiday Inn in the background has more like 80 rooms, I still worry about the height.

Beautiful weather warrants formation of rooms AND first catcalls from construction workers. Cafe sign goes up across the street. They might make their own bread!

Back from vacation and not much has changed. I mean I guess the second floor is completed, right? In the meantime, check out the beautiful view I have now. Maybe I should quit bitchin’ and enjoy it whilest I can.

So now we’re in the masonry stage…did I miss something? Shouldn’t the main structure of the building be complete before cosmetics are done??
