A satirical but supremely honest look at the Republican National Convention, not to mention the hypocrisy about Kerry and Palin.
I really just don’t understand people making excuses for the Republican Party’s bullshit. People should learn a lesson or two from Batman Begins Yes, it was just on CBS the other night but that doesn’t mean it didn’t have a good meaning!
Oh BTW I meant the bad guys trying to bring people together through tragedy. Too bad our country has never lived like that. Seriously.

Oh boy did I <3 the Douche-Bag Off! Perhaps it’s the Southern girl in me that will never die or that anytime Jon does an accent it’s friggin’ hilARious. Either or…I was pleased with this week. Lots of long, yet really great, interviews to cut up and plenty of crappy news hilarity to choose from. Numerous darlings died last Friday.
Good thing you can check out all the clips, white-flash free (that is, unless it’s the TDS graphics staff doing it) at TheDailyShow.com. Yep, that should earn me a paycheck this month.
AANNDDDD I just noticed that the cutting-out-early thing is still in effect and that I, nor anyone who should also do a once-over before putting it out there, did not notice my title flub. I changed it but it looks like it might be there to stay. Aw shucks. Maybe someday when the DVD comes out the right one will be seen.

Whef~what a week!! Good guests, not just McCain of course with his super-pandering abilities, but also book whore Fareed Zakaria, as well as featuring almost all of our correspondents (Samantha Bee looks like she’s about to pop so I’ll be easy on her lacking appearance). While I had to cut out Senator Harry Reid’s adorable filibustering bit, I’m moreso disappointed that I couldn’t have just made a montage of “John Ollie’s Ticket to the Pollies!!” He and Cojo were an absolute hit–def my favorite part! But watch for yourself and see:
